While it is a difficult task to put into words what the Akashic records ARE. How can we try to explain a record of everything that has existed? Especially, from our limited perspective. Energy is everything, it can not be created or destroyed, it is just transformed from one state to another. With all this energy, we all have access to this expanded frequency of information.
In essence, the Akashic Records are believed to be the repository of every thought, word, and deed of every living being, good, bad, and awful, in all times; past, present, future. But those familiar with the records report that there is no judgment or implied penalty in the records — they are said to simply be a record of each Soul’s journey through the infinite.
Tibetan monks, or “mahatmas” said the records could be found in the “akasha,” or “akasa,” the Sanskrit word for astral light, or the ether element in eastern belief systems. This fifth element of space is considered the fundamental fabric of reality from which all other elements emerge. “The Field.” Metaphysician Rudolph Steiner also referenced the Akashic Records, asserting that every action, word, and thought leaves a trace in etheric realms. We know that our thoughts, when consistently repeated create part of our experienced reality. We have heard about the Law of Attraction and its limitations as well as its proclaimed magnetism.
Edgar Cayce the "father of holistic medicine," and the most documented psychic of the 20th century. Was once asked where he gained access to the information he shared, He replied that there were essentially two areas. The first was the subconscious mind of the individual for whom he was giving the reading and the second was the Akashic Records.
Everyone has access to these records for we all are part of them. For many, it just takes practice, patience, stillness, discipline, and a good deal of research to successfully access the records. The hardest part is trusting yourself and the experiences you have. Many individuals have preconceptions or distrust their own experience due to the lifelong habit of turning to others outside for help, assistance and guidance. When we first step into our personal Source Connection and discover the energy we can access within our vessel and its frequency, it can be unfamiliar and the mind wants to question it, doubt it and disregard our ability.
These records connect each and every one of us to each other. They contain the essence of every archetypal symbol or mythic story which has ever deeply touched patterns of human behavior and experience. They have been the inspiration for dreams and invention. They draw us toward or repel us from one another. They mold and shape levels of human consciousness. They are a portion of Divine Mind. They are the unbiased judge and jury that attempt to guide, educate, and transform every individual to become the very best that she or he can be. They embody an ever-changing array of possible futures that are called into potential as we interact and respond to the circumstances of our lives. This is how they affect our experience.
Keeping in mind that there is there is no ‘fate’ or ‘destiny’ in the records, as life is the result of multiple, constantly shifting contingencies and synergies. Life is more complex than that, and there is no certainty in the outer world,” we have choice in every moment that influences our outcome. Aligning to our Soul simply opens up a path with less blocks and restrictions for our journey as ‘creators.’
After sifting through different accounts of the Akashic Record reports from individuals who have accessed them, it becomes obvious that everyone has an experience that is unique to them.
